Question 1: Why won't the Wizard import my hand history file?
Answer
- If you are having a problem loading your hand histories, make sure you are running the latest release. You can download the latest release by clicking here. After you install, open the Wizard, go to program options, and set CheckForUpdates to true. Then the Wizard will notify you when a new release is available.
- Make sure you save your hand histories in English. The Wizard cannot import hand histories saved in other languages.
Question 2: Where are my PokerStars hand histories?
Answer In your PokerStars client, select Options->Instant Hand History Options. Make sure "Save My Hands History" is checked and note the "Where To Save" folder path. It is probably something like "C:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory". PokerStars will create another folder here with the same name as your user name. So hand histories will actually be stored here (or something similar):
C:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory\
Where is your PokerStars user name. Note that turning this option on does not save any previously played tournament hand histories. It will only save new tournaments you play.
After you have played a tournament so that a hand history has been saved, open the SitNGo Wizard. Click on "Open a tournament folder" on the Wizard's home page and select the folder above. The Wizard will load the hand history files contained in this folder.
C:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory\

Question 3: Where are my FullTilt hand histories?
Answer In your Full Tilt Poker client, select Options->Hand History. Make sure "Save My Hands Histories" is checked and note the "Current Location" folder path. It is probably something like "C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory". Full Tilt Poker will create another folder here with the same name as your user name. So hand histories will actually be stored here (or something similar):
C:\Program Files\ Full Tilt Poker \HandHistory\

Question 4: Where are my Microgaming hand histories?
Answer 1. In main lobby click menu > My options > Hand history. (A new window opens)
2. From here you can simply enter your tournament name or id and click the "show hand history" button, or you can enter view last hands or dates and click "show hand history" button.
3. All searched for hands appear in the field below and you can either select one or multi-table hands to be exported by pressing the "export hand history" button.

Question 5: I am using Hold'em Manager and my hand histories disappeared. What happened?
Answer If you are using Holdem Manager to auto-import hand histories, it is probably moving the hand histories from the default location to another folder. To find out where it is moving the files:
Open Holdem Manager.
Click on the Options menu.
Select “Configure Auto Import Folders”.
In the Configure Auto Import dialog, select your hand history folder and click on the Edit button.
In the Edit Auto Import Folder dialog, the “Archive Folder” field contains the destination path where Holdem Manager is moving the hand history files. This is the folder you need to open in the Wizard.

Question 6: I am running Windows Vista or Windows 7. Where are my hand histories?
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\
where is your Windows login name.
If you do not see the AppData folder, it may be hidden. To make hidden folders visible, go to Control Panel on the Windows Start Menu. Select “Appearance and Personalization”. Select “Folder Options”. Select the “View” tab. In Advanced settings, select “Show hidden files and folders”. Select OK.
The Wizard can find the files because when it looks in "Program Files" Vista automatically redirects it to the VirtualStore folder.
So you have 2 options:
Open the hand history files in the VirtualStore folder.
Turn off the Vista security for the poker client. You can do this by right-clicking on the poker client shortcut and selecting Properties. In the second tab, check the box called "Run as Administrator" (I'm writing this from memory so I could be wrong about the exact names). Running the application as an Administrator allows it to write the hand histories into the "Program Files" folder.
